Residual life Analysis (RLA) /Condition Assessment and Failure analysis for Transformer /Reactor
First and Foremost, transformers such as Generator Transformers, Station Transformers, and Inter-connecting Transformers are much-needed to be highly stable, in order to diminish hazardous risks. To ascertain the transformer’s serviceability, it is essential to examine the scope of aging and prior determination of arising faults. Hence, we provide an extensive range of tests, termed as Residual Life Assessment that promotes the assessment of the remaining life of a transformer.
The RLA test strategy operates on a range of tests incorporating electrical tests, oil-paper-related tests to measure the insulation degradation along the Partial Discharge test on the Transformer. Such tests unveil enough information related to insulation degradation and the remaining life of the equipment.

For performing RLE studies, the history of the conditions under which the equipment has worked over the past duration is highly considerable. - Study of past performance data and review of O&M records e.g. loading conditions, number of tripping failures, repairs/replacements, etc.
